Through flowers and butterflies, the dance portrays an age of flourishing nature, shared joy, and renewal. As one of the flowers, I dance within this blooming landscape, embodying its vitality and grace.

A vibrant fusion of Uyghur, Mongolian, Tibetan, Dai, Northeastern Yangge, and Northeastern handkerchief dance, celebrating the diverse rhythms, gestures, and traditions of Chinese folk culture. It is a traditional piece in our Student Art Troupe’s repertoire, passed down through generations of performers. As I grew older and taller, I danced through every section of the piece; in this performance, I take on the Mongolian and Northeastern handkerchief dance sections.

A dance from The Eternal Wave, evoking the quiet morning life of old Shanghai. I portray its gentle rhythms and understated beauty through movement, capturing a fleeting moment of everyday life.

Inspired by Tang-era figurines, I embodied a ceramic maiden awakening to life, exploring the elegance, vitality, and cultural memory of the Tang dynasty through movement.
Through learning Jiaozhou Yangge, I connected with Chinese folk traditions, discovering culture through movement, rhythm, and embodied expression.
